I've decided to use this mostly for my writing now, mostly the extra bits and original stuff not on my fanfic.net account. To help motivate me to finish writing the actual story I've started doing stuff like 50 sentences and fic 100 for my original story No More 'Happily Ever After's. Not sure how much sense any of it'll make since it jumps around in the story like crazy, but oh well it's still nice to post it somewhere.

    I still haven't really decided what I want to do with journal, that's mostly why I haven't been posting any thing. Oh well, I think I might use it to post so random stuff I've written: fanfiction, original stuff, whatever; since I do tend to write quite a bit and it'd be nice to post it somewhere. Maybe, I shall actually use this to interact with people? Doesn't seem to likely though, oh well, one can always hope.

    Today I learned that when reading manga if they start talking about butterflies, possibily in conjunction with dreams, be prepared for some really cracked-out stuff. Volume twelve of xxxHOLiC, which is what I was reading today, for example. I swear I thought that one chapter of PetShop of Horrors was bad but man, xxxHOLiC had a whole volume of it. Seriously some of the most confusing stuff I've read.

    Hmm, other things of interest? I finally got around to watching the last episode of the Death Note anime. I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be pretty awesome. The change to the ending was nice and it made me sympathize with Raito a bit more than the manga, where by the last few chapters I was just thinking "Someone please just put that poor boy(Raito) out of his misery already". I also thought the bit with Misa and L was a nice touch. To me the anime seemed to wrap up more cleanly than the manga.

    Well, that's enough of an update for now I suppose. I think I'll post some written stuff later.

Wow it's been awhile since I've updated this thing, but then again isn't it always? Well I'm now using this to get used to writing again, so those essay/speech things my English teacher is having us do won't catch me so out of practice. Concerning the currently reading, I love this series of books and so far I've read them all except 2, 4, and 8. I can't wait to see the show they're making for it on SciFi.

I have decided that high school is at least ten times better than middle school and elementary school combined. I'm happy to say that besides the band camp bit, which I will go into detail about later, school has been, dare I say it, fun. I'm finally getting to learn Japanese in an actual class as opposed to me just trying to teach myself with books from the local library. I have this bizarre thing called "freshman forum" which is English and History class combined, sort of. Really it's just the two classes being taught in the same room one right after the other, they have different teachers for the two classes. In the English part we're already starting on a essay/speech type thing about our names, like the meanings, how they have effected our lives, whether we like them or not, etc. My history teacher is actually pretty cool and while we were doing this "10 Dates Every American Should Know" when we got to WWII he compared the US to Walmart in the department of natural resources. I find the health teacher hilarious because you can tell he so does not want to be there teaching a bunch of kids health. My friend and I figure he'd rather be coaching some sports team, judging from the fact that through the entire class he has the TV turned to some basketball game. So he ends up watching the TV and pretty much just let's us talk or do some "getting to know each other" activity. Also I love the photography room, it has it's own dark room and to get in it there's this odd spinning door that reminds me of some kind of transporter type thing you'd see on some show about the future.

Still on the subject of school here's the explanation of the whole band camp experience. At the beginning of band camp only four band people from my middle school, including myself, bothered to show in the first place. Now I had been doubting for some time if I really wanted to keep doing band, so by the time band camp started the only thing keeping me there was the fact that over spring break we'd get to go to Disney World, which sadly enough was my whole motivation for joining band way back in fourth grade. So I went to the jump start camp, which was a little three day mini camp about a month before actual band camp started, and found out that the only friend I had had in band had dropped out of it and that I had absolutely no talent for marching, so two more hits against sticking with band. But despite this I stuck with it, that is until the real band camp started. The first day, which would last from eight in the morning until four in the afternoon, eight very, very long hours, we would be outside marching until eleven since we couldn't stay out past then because of the heat index. I figured that while yeah it was really hot I could probably handle the heat with little to no problem, heh yeah right. Long story short I now despise marching, heat, and band in general, so I quite band and joined photography.

You know those commercials on TV that talk about how parents should know what their kid learned at school that day? Well if you think about it, I don't think parents want to know what their kids really learned at school. For example today on the bus I learned that according to random dude sitting across from me you should not try to use hand sanitizer as lube since it evaporates quickly. Here's how this little 'life lesson' came about. The girl sitting next to the guy who made the hand sanitizer comment had a some sort of coke which she let a guy two seats ahead of her take a drink from. Well he had been drinking it so his mouth didn't touch the bottle but then the guy next to him knocked the bottle so it hit his mouth. So then he gives the coke back to the girl who just wipes the opening of the coke bottle off on her shirt and right before she takes a drink out of it some guy in the seat in front of her starts going on about "OMG you're not going to drink after him are you?!". The girl then points out that she could use the hand sanitizer she has to clean it off, but the guy next to her points out that that would taste bad and also feels the need to inform the bus about how you should not use hand sanitizer as lube. Scary thing was he sounded like he was talking from experience.

Now for one last event of the day: here's proof that trying to switch from going to sleep at eight in the morning and not getting up until three or four in the afternoon to trying to go to sleep at eleven and get up at six in the morning really messes with your head. I was sitting on the bus a few minutes after the whole hand sanitizer incident when I happened to see my reflection in the bus's mirror. Wanna know what my oh so smart reaction to that was? It was something along the lines of "Hey I wonder who that girl is? I haven't seen her on the bus before, I wonder where she's sitting?" It was about a minute or so before I realized it was me. Yeah, I really need to get some sleep.

PS: About the currently thing I watched both the Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned movies a few years back and I've just now gotten a chance to read the books, man, and I thought they had changed a lot when they made the Harry Potter movies. Compared to the vampire chronicle books/movies the Harry Potter movies are untouched. I mean it's been like four or five years since I've seen the movies but I don't remember anything about Gabrielle, the coven under les Innocents(besides the theater in Interview with the Vampire), or Nicolas being mentioned at all in the movies. Also in the Queen of the Damned movie didn't they have it where Marius was the one who turned Lestat? I know they're fairly long books and some things had to be changed or cut altogether, but now since I've been reading the books there seem to be quite a few wtf parts to the movies concerning cuts and changes.

I just got Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children Thursday, it's one of the best movies I've seen in a really long time. Also I've got another favorite character to go along with Axel, Reno! He has the same English voice and looks a lot like Axel, someone told me that Axel was meant to be the Reno of Kingdom Hearts or something like that. Well then just yesterday I told my other friend about Advent Children, then she went and watched some videos at youtube so now even though she hasn't seen the movie she's obsessed. For some reason she really seems to like Kadaj. Along the same lines my sister, two of my friends(the Kadaj fan and another), and me are planing to cosplay as Yazoo, Kadaj, Loz or Rude, and Reno respectively. We'll probably be doing this at the nearest convention after I get my drivers license either some time late this year or early next year.

On to random events of lately, for A Series of Unfortunate Events fans instead of "The world is quiet here" it's "The world is stupid here" or it is where I live. In pretty much all my classes my teachers are saying OMG it's the end of the year and we've only finished 1/2 to 3/4 of the school work. It's not like this is their first year teaching, so how in the heck did their lesson plans managed to get thrown off so far? So they're all piling on the work, in my English class we've had to write two freaky long papers that apparently needed to go to high school with no warning what so ever and I just happened to be absent for over half that week too.

Well for the first day of the week of the freaky long English papers we had a snow make up day so we weren't there. For the second I was sick. For the third I didn't get there until almost 10:00 and then they stuck me in AEA, in school suspension all day(more on that farther down). For the fourth I didn't know what we were supposed to be writing about sense I was in AEA the day before and they didn't see fit to tell me so I didn't have the research materials needed. Then the next week I had band practice virtually all day one of the days on another we had a two hour delay do to fog that no one that I knew even saw. So I ended up staying up to who knows how late attempting to finish those dumb English papers. I swear if I have to so another of those "Reflection Pieces"(papers where you have to write about your writing strengths, weaknesses, and how to improve those weaknesses) again I think I'll hurt someone.

Now about the horror that is the all day AEA. Well I finally got to school around 10:00 cause that stupid nurse doesn't get there till then and she had to make sure I wasn't still sick before I was allowed to go to school. So the nurse says it's fine for me to go to class and I find out that I have in school suspension for being late on a day I wasn't even late. Well I'm like whatever and I go to the AEA room, in there you are put in a little cubical to just sit there and listen to the two stupid teachers watching you who talk in some mutated form of English that is sevearly lacking in personal pronouns(ie words like I, you, we) I mean they seem to be able to use other pronouns like they and them. Here's a little example "They really don't appreciate us do they Mrs. McGieer" "No they don't Mrs(name I don't' remember)" I swear they just wouldn't shut up and all they have to do is watch us, sit there, and make copies of papers teachers need. Well if that wasn't bad enough apparently my teachers didn't realize I was in AEA so they didn't send me anything to do. So I sat there for the first part of the day copying rules and the finally when they realized my teachers weren't going to send work they let me read one of my books. I was supposed to go back the next day to make up the two hours I missed waiting for the nurse but I'd go insane if I had to sit through that again so since no one said anything else about it I just didn't go.

OMG it's Axel! He's my favorite character from the Kingdom Hearts games. I swear he has the best lines especialy his last ones as bizarre sounding as that is. Just cause I feel like it here are some examples of Axel's awsome-ness(I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be counted as spoilers), first theres him talking to Kairi "If you have a dream don't wait. Act. One of life's little rules. Got it memorized?" and then from his last scene:

Axel: Oh, before I forget, sorry for what I did to her(Kairi)
Sora: When we find her you can tell her that yourself.
Axel: Think I'll pass. My heart just wouldn't be in it, you know? Haven't got one.

And that's pretty much why I haven't been on here, I've been playing KH2. I'm on the final battle and I can get the guy down to 1hp but then he just won't die and then he kills me but whatever. So untill I beat it, which should be in the next couple of days, I won't be posting, but since barely any people if any are reading this that's not really all that impotant, ne?
